LEGAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENROLLMENT

By enrolling in From Motif to Magic: The Art of Storytelling in Surface Pattern Design (“Course”), you (“Participant,” “Student,” or “You”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions, which form a binding legal agreement between you and Jillian Anderson Illustration, doing business as Jillian Nichole Illustration (“Company,” “we,” or “us”).

1. COURSE ACCESS

Students will have lifetime access to the course materials, defined as the duration of time the Course is hosted and maintained by the Company. The Company reserves the right to discontinue the Course at any time with reasonable notice. Access to the course is provided through the Kajabi platform and is limited to the individual who made the purchase.

Videos are stream-only and may not be downloaded. All videos, lessons, and accompanying materials are for personal educational use only and may not be copied, distributed, or shared with any third party.

2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content within the Course, including but not limited to videos, worksheets, slide decks, guides, written materials, templates, and downloads (“Course Materials”) are the sole property of the Company and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not:

  • Share, resell, or redistribute Course Materials

  • Use Course Materials to create your own course, workshop, or training

  • Present the Course or its content as your own

You may share your own completed design work (e.g., motifs, patterns, or collections created during the course) publicly on social media, in your portfolio, or for promotional purposes.

3. PAYMENT TERMS

The Course is priced at $197 USD. Payment is due in full at the time of enrollment, or through approved installment options available via third-party providers (Klarna, Afterpay). All payments are processed through Kajabi Payments. By enrolling, you agree to pay the total amount selected, whether as a one-time payment or in accordance with your selected payment plan.

4. REFUNDS

Refunds are available until 11:59pm Eastern Time 7 days past your enrollment date. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] before the deadline.

If a refund is granted, access to the Course and all associated materials will be revoked immediately upon processing the refund. No partial access or continued use of any Course content, including downloads or recordings, is permitted after a refund is issued.

No refunds will be granted after 11:59pm Eastern Time 7 days past your enrollment date, for any reason, including but not limited to missed lessons, partial participation, scheduling conflicts, or changes in personal circumstances.

5. DISCLAIMERS

The Company makes no guarantees regarding the results of taking this Course. Individual outcomes may vary and depend on numerous factors including personal effort, existing skills, and market conditions.

This Course does not provide or replace professional legal, financial, business, or career advice. You are responsible for your own decisions and outcomes.

6. MODIFICATION + TERMINATION

The Company reserves the right to update or modify course content, structure, pricing, or access conditions at any time. If the Course is retired, students will be provided with advance notice and a minimum of 30 days to download any eligible personal-use materials.

7. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Rhode Island, United States.

Hey friend, here’s the gist of the fine print you just agreed to:

  • You’ll have “lifetime access,” meaning for as long as I offer the course - not forever-ever.

  • You can’t download the videos, but you can rewatch them on Kajabi anytime you like.

  • The worksheets and other downloads are yours to use - but please don’t share them with others.

  • You paid (or are paying in installments), and those payments are final unless you ask for a refund by 11:59pm Eastern Time 7 days past your enrollment date. 

    If you request a refund before 11:59pm Eastern Time 7 days past your enrollment date, I’ve got you covered. But once I process the refund, you’ll lose access to the course and everything inside it. No take-backsies.

    No refunds after that date, even if you forget to watch, life gets busy, or your creative muse goes on vacation.

  • You’re allowed (and encouraged!) to share the beautiful work you create in the course. But you can’t use the course materials to make your own class, workshop, or resource.

  • I can’t promise you’ll get a licensing deal or Spoonflower fame - but I can help you make stronger, more meaningful work.

  • This isn’t legal, business, or financial advice - just creative guidance from one pattern nerd to another.

  • If the course ever closes, I’ll give you a heads-up and time to grab what you need.
